What if,Just what if things don't go your way?

Well, even before we delve deeper into this conversation, let me hype you guys ...because wueeh... adulting can be tough. So, if no one ever told you, then let me, you gat this! Growing up, we kind of seemed to have a picture  though vaguely, but we seemed to have a ka-radar of what we want our lives to turn out. Literally, I want to go back to the times I used to say,"when I grow up, I want to blablabla"

But has it ever occurred to you that what if stuff didn't turn out the way you thought they would.
Well. Let's face it, there are things you saw yourself into growing up but they are so far-fetched by now. You probably thought of having a great career by 25, but you are 29 and still doesn't have any substantial thing going on in your career life. You probably thought of having a good marriage by a certain age but it is not the case right now and so on.

Getting to deal with that could turn out to be one of the hardest thing in life. The fact that you get to accept that life sometimes will not go as planned and such is life. Finishing school can get you thinking though...maaahn!

As kids, we managed to come up with the most beautiful ways our lives could turn out. Things like the hope of how our first love would lead to that eternal fairy tale marriage. Wait, did you guys even plan out your marriage, or how many kids you will have or was it just us. Anyway, say hello to Wangari haha.
But it actually got me thinking that what if, just what if the most beautiful things and plans suddenly come to an end. When life actually decides to take you on a totally different path. Ever thought of that? If not, I bet you should...give room for those what ifs? For me, something I have come to learn is that there is nothing you could really do apart from accepting the disappointment. A very good starting point.

So I am watching this movie and this whole thing kind of makes sense to me now. That sometimes, we think, or we actually are gifted at specific things and we get confident that this will always help maneuver life for us. One thing, just because we got success with one approach, doesn't mean it would work out in every situation. How about we became more self aware of who we are, flexible and versatile to know when to approach different method of approaching life. Because if all we had was a hammer, them everything around you will start looking like nails, or we will make them look like nails. You know how frustrating that can get.
At some point in our lives we all experienced this kind of disappointing. You probably weren't selected for a job, you probably got rejected in love or you didn't get that good grade and this seemingly keeps you out of the actual dream that was standing right in front of your nose.

If you asked me, this is what I'd say,  "Relaaax! Vitu ya dunia haiwezi nistress mimi. ( Things of this world wont stress me) but candidly, this is what i have to say...Your life is one big powerful river and you trying to fight it from up the stream. How about you be a regular fish and try to go with the flow. Feel the energy and ride with it.

Yes, adulting is tough and yes, we really don't have a map to help us ride along and, yes, will you always get what you want? No. Because that's just life. Eventually, you will get there. You will have your radar mate.  Everyone needs a shot at life, just hang in there... It might turn out bad, ugly...shake it off, wake up tomorrow and relearn. Mistakes are the reason not the reasons we let go.  Probably change the approach and see yourself becoming the Bear.

Thank to you all for riding along with my writing till now. I appreciate it.
Keep in touch for more.
